COURSE CONTENT
Introductions The day starts with introductions as each attendee shares who they are and what they hope to achieve from the day, breaking the ice and identifying the group’s key areas for support. The day is very organic and each course is different, according to the needs of the group.
Stand & Deliver How to look the part on stage
Spice it Up Language and delivery techniques to set you apart from other speakers.
Vocal Variety Vocal techniques to give your voice the edge and help you connect with your audience in new, more effective, ways.
Involve Your Audience Be a stand-out speaker by engaging with and involving your audience in ways that most speakers are not willing to do.
Own the Stage The stage is your home and your audience need to see that. Learn how to use your space for maximum impact.
Pull it All Together The day ends with attendees each delivering a short presentation, bringing together all the skills and techniques learned throughout the day, and demonstrating their new confidence and developed abilities.

The advanced Presentation Training session is for anyone who has already attended ‘iCan Speak’ Presentation Training and would like to take it to the next level. More advanced techniques covered as well as feedback on larger parts of your presentation which is not possible in the Entry Level session.
COURSE CONTENT
Initial Presentation: The day starts with introductions and a small 5/7 minute presentation from each delegate.
Feedback: on each presentation which will be recorded.
Start with the End in Mind: Create a powerful opening and close for your talk. Write out your own introduction.
The Power of Three: Your presentation will remembered as easy A,B,C or 1,2,3 when you follow the rule of 3.
Change Direction: Keep your audience engaged by changing direction when they least expect it.
Get into Character: A simple technique that most speakers are unwilling to do. Acting out parts of your presentaion will set you apart from your average speaker.
The Slide Rule: When using slides whilst presenting its crucial they are fantastic. Here we look briefly at a few rules worth considering.
At the end of the day delegates will deliver their presentation again whilst utilising the skills learned during the day.
Course Ends: 5pm
5.15-6.00pm Bonus Session: So how do you build a speaking business? For those of you wishing to build a speaking business Richard will deliver a short bonus session after the day has ended on how he went from a frightened, inexperienced and naive speaker to now speaking 200 times a year. You’d be surprised at how easy it is when you know the secrets.
